Job Summary
The Sr. Design Engineer – NPD is responsible for developing cutting-edge products from concept through production release. The role involves mechanical design, engineering analysis, prototyping, validation, and collaboration with global cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable, and cost-effective product solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Product Design & Development
- Develop product concepts, layouts, and detailed designs.
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using Creo or equivalent CAD tools.
- Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).




- Ensure designs meet performance, quality, cost, and manufacturability requirements.

Engineering Analysis
- Perform engineering calculations and design evaluations.
- Conduct or coordinate FEA, CFD, tolerance stack-up, and structural analyses.
- Verify reliability, bearing life, shaft deflection, sealing arrangements, and product safety requirements.

Project Execution
- Support projects from concept through prototype, validation, and production release.
- Prepare project plans, identify technical risks, and drive mitigation actions.
- Manage engineering deliverables and meet committed schedules.

Cross-functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Hydraulic, CFD, FEA, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, and Testing teams.
- Support supplier discussions and resolve technical issues.
- Participate in design reviews and stage-gate processes.

Validation & Product Launch
- Support prototype builds, testing, validati
