Qualification:
- Regular /Full Time Master’s degree in Visual Communication/Electronic Media/ Mass Communication & Journalism with one of the qualification (M.Phil/NET/SET/Ph.D)
- Min 2 years of work experience as Teaching Faculty in Viscom Department
- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
- Passion for teaching and a student-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Responsibilities
Teaching:
- Conducting
lectures, seminars, and practical sessions for undergraduate or postgraduate
students in visual communication.
- Developing
and delivering course content in areas such as graphic design, multimedia,
animation, film studies, and related subjects.
- Providing
guidance and support to students on academic and career-related matters.
Curriculum Development:
- Contributing
to the development and review of the visual communication curriculum.
- Updating
course materials to align with industry trends and technological advancements.
- Introducing
innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
Research:
- Engaging
in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and presentations in
relevant fields.
- Keeping
up-to-date with advancements in visual communication, design, and media
studies.
Student Advising:
- Advising
students on academic and career choices within the visual communication field.
- Providing
mentorship and guidance on academic projects, research, and career development.
Professional Development:
- Pursuing
career development opportunities to stay current with industry practices
and educational methodologies.
- Attending
conferences, workshops, and seminars to enhance expertise and network with
professionals in the field.
