Job Title - Engineer - Product Design
Job Summary: As an Engineer – Product Design, you will be part of an innovative global current product development team responsible for the end‑to‑end development of Hazardous Area Electrical Products (ATEX/IECEx/UL). You will translate creative ideas into practical engineering solutions through concept generation, modelling, prototyping, and validation, ensuring high‑quality, compliant, and manufacturable designs.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Work as part of an innovative product development team involved in complete lifecycle development of Hazardous Area Electrical Products (ATEX/IECEx/UL).
- Generate creative ideas and design concepts based on project and customer requirements.
- Convert ideas and concepts into workable models and proof‑of‑concept prototypes.
- Perform prior verification of concepts through analytical calculations, sketches, and 3D modelling.
- Validate designs through prototyping, testing, and performance analysis.
- Prepare detailed designs, engineering drawings,



and Bills of Materials (BoMs).
- Use Creo for modelling and Windchill for PLM workflows and release of engineering documents.
- Communicate progress and technical details with technical leads, project managers, and team members.
- Participate in cross-functional and cross-regional project meetings for status updates and technical discussions.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Knowledge of electro mechanical product design & development knowledge
- Strong proficiency in Creo CAD software is an advantage (Or SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals such as mechanics, DFMEA, DFA, materials, GD&T;, and tolerance analysis.
