About the Role
Times Microwave Systems is seeking an experienced New Product Development (NPD) Engineer to join its manufacturing facility in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting new product introduction (NPI), process development, and manufacturing readiness for RF cable assemblies and connector products.
This role requires solid expertise in RF cable and connector manufacturing, process documentation, production support,
and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful product launches while maintaining quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
New Product Development & Process Transfer
- Lead and support New Product Development (NPD) activities for RF cable assemblies and connector products.
- Build and validate first samples/prototypes of new products.
- Develop, review, and verify manufacturing process documentation based on sample builds.
- Transfer process knowledge and manufacturing instructions to production teams and operators.
- Ensure successful transition of new products from development to production.
Manufacturing & Process Improvement
- Monitor and control manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and productivity standards.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
