General Tasks/Activities
• Monitor overall health of all the SAP DB’s (Legacy and Hana)
o Space
o Automated alerting
o Performance
o Disk space
• Respond to recent alerts
o Research and reaction to thresholds hit
• Backup verification
• Support System refreshes mainly from production to Quality
• Participate in System upgrades/patches
• Engage in issues requiring performance (Ex. Sap standard reschedule)
• Performance analysis -Trends (sharing metrics/charts in required)
o SQL analysis for performance
• Research when problems are encountered
• Security roles within DB
• Participated in required in SOX requests
• Maintain DB documentation
• Table partitioning
• Hana Cockpit set and training of backup DBA’s
