Job Description

The Purchase Manager is responsible for managing the hotel's overall procurement function, ensuring timely sourcing of quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with hotel standards. The role oversees vendor management, purchasing strategies, inventory coordination, and procurement processes to support smooth hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:




- Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies aligned with hotel operational requirements and annual budgets.
- Manage procurement of Food & Beverage supplies, housekeeping materials, engineering items, guest supplies, operating equipment, and general consumables.
- Ensure timely availability of materials without affecting hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
- Review purchase requisitions and ensure approvals are obtained as per hotel policies and authorization limits.
- Source quality products from approved suppliers at competitive prices through effective negotiation and vendor evaluation.
- Establish and maintain solid relationships with key vendors, monitoring their performance against agreed service levels and quality standards.
- Manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability while minimizing carrying costs and waste.
