Job Summary

The Senior Mechanical Project Engineer is responsible for developing and delivering industrial plant layout solutions for powder processing projects. The role provides mechanical engineering expertise to ensure layouts are effective, compliant with applicable standards, and aligned with customer and project requirements. The position also supports technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
This is a permanent full-time position based in Chakan, Pune within Tetra Pak Processing Equipment SAS with 10% of potential traveling.

What you will do
- Define layout solutions based on process, equipment, piping, structural, safety,



and operational requirements.
- Coordinate layout reviews and support technical validation activities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify design improvements, technical risks, and project deviations, and propose appropriate solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, engineering procedures, hygienic design principles, and food safety requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process, automation, project management, sourcing, and site execution.
- Support customer discussions, installation activities, and technical issue resolution when required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the development of junior engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing.
