Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the chance to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. Each day, you will oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Distribution Solution division at Nashik, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Manage MRO procurement of maintenance spares, consumables, tools,
and specialized contractor services as per maintenance requirements and timelines.
- Plan and control maintenance spare parts inventory, including MSL/ROL, forecasting, criticality assessment, lead-time management, and inventory reduction.
- Manage maintenance stores operations, ensuring proper receipt, storage, identification, system updates, and availability of critical spares.
- Develop alternate/local sources for imported, high-cost, and OEM spare parts to optimize cost and improve availability.
- Coordinate supplier performance and material availability, including PO tracking, delivery follow-up, quality issues, and corrective actions to minimize maintenance downtime.
- Ensure compliance and continuous improvement through ABB procurement procedures, Ariba/catalogue buying, Lean, 5S, TPM, Kaizen, and applicable ISO standards.
