Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an Android Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing and maintaining high-quality Android applications using Kotlin.
The role will contribute to the development of scalable, secure, high-performance mobile applications by applying up-to-date Android architecture patterns, REST API integrations, reusable coding practices and effective testing approaches. The developer will collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA teams and Backend Developers to deliver reliable mobile experiences aligned with business and customer needs.Experience in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, Payments, Digital Banking, Lending, Wealth Management or Insurance applications will be an advantage.

Software Requirements

Required
- Kotlin: Strong proficiency in Kotlin for Android application development; experience should align with the current project-supported version.
- Java: Good working knowledge of Java for Android development, code maintenance and integration with existing application components.
- Android SDK:



Hands-on experience developing, debugging and maintaining Android applications using the current project-supported SDK versions.
- Android Studio: Practical experience with application development, debugging, profiling, build configuration and release preparation.
- Jetpack Components: Experience using relevant Android Jetpack Components in production applications.
- MVVM and Clean Architecture: Practical experience applying MVVM Architecture and Clean Architecture principles.
- MVP: Familiarity with MVP architecture where required for existing applications.
- REST APIs and JSON: Experience integrating RESTful APIs, parsing JSON and handling API errors, authentication and response states.
- Coroutines and Flow: Experience implementing asynchronous operations, reactive data flows and lifecycle-aware application behavior.
- Dependency Injection: Experience with Dagger, Hilt, Koin or equivalent dependency-injectio
