NURSING SUPERINTENDENT

Description

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the overall nursing services of the hospital.
- Ensure high standards of patient care, nursing quality and patient safety.
- Manage nursing manpower, duty rosters, staffing and deployment.
- Monitor nursing practices, documentation, infection control and adherence to hospital protocols.
- Coordinate with doctors, clinical departments and hospital administration for smooth patient care.
- Conduct regular nursing audits, training and competency assessments.
- Address patient and staff concerns and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with NABH/JCI standards, statutory requirements and hospital SOPs.
- Monitor nursing KPIs and prepare regular reports for management.




- Lead and mentor the nursing team and promote a culture of accountability and service excellence.

Candidate Profile
- Solid leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of hospital nursing operations and quality standards.
- Proven ability to manage large nursing teams in a multispecialty hospital.
- Patient-centric, disciplined and results-oriented.
