About this role
Purpose of the role:
The objective of the role is to ensure that all USL Locations including Units, Offices, Depots Operating Secure and there is enhancement in maturity of EHS standards by working on following focus areas in North Region and covering EHS for TMU (Third-party manufacturing, Depots/Warehouses, Offices, Driving safety & External Events. Role requires extensive Travelling and Stakeholder management and driving Corporate EHS Strategic Agenda in the Region.
The role also requires close working to OMU - Own manufacturing Units. the Role will also lead and anchor some of the Corporate EHS Agenda and drive it in the region and across.
The role will ensure:
- All locations safety standards are aligned to global Standards on EHS (GRMS) and SFIP Stds
- There is maturity in culture of Safety learning and sensitivity in safety across Organization
- Support EHS in Demand Team – including Offices/driving Safety. Ensure Incident reporting and Investigation and ensuring Sharing and learning.
- Support EHS in Move team – including Depots/Logistics
- Support Demand Team – for External Events Safety Reviews and support
- Drive and Mature Driving Safety Programme (i-Drive Safe Programme)
- Mature EHS Audit System. Follow audit plan and ensure and support closure and report the progress for the region.
- Mature Engagement, communication and initiative drives are taken across all locations
