Job Summary
OpenGov’s Skilled Services (PS) team delivers configurable, scalable solutions to state and local governments using Government App Builder (GAB) — OpenGov’s proprietary low-code/no-code application development platform.
As a Business Application Developer III, you will design, configure, and enhance customer or business specific applications using platform capabilities, configuration, data modeling, workflow automation, and limited scripting.
You will split your time between:
- Designing and configuring business applications using Government App Builder
- Partnering directly with implementation teams and customers to translate business processes into scalable, automated solutions
This role is ideal for a technically strong problem solver who understands data modeling, workflow logic, and business process design — but does not require heavy full-stack engineering in frameworks such as React, NodeJS, or Java. You will play a key role in delivering high-impact solutions that modernize government operations.
