What's the role?
As a Sr R&D; Test Engineer II, you will contribute to the validation and quality assurance of HERE's HD Map and related geospatial solutions. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to execute test strategies, analyze geospatial datasets, and support both manual and automated testing initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in software testing, location technologies, and data validation while making a measurable impact on products used worldwide.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Execute functional, regression, and product-level validation activities for HERE's HD Map and Base Map solutions.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to understand requirements, define test scenarios, and validate product quality.
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test datasets that support comprehensive product validation.
- Support manual testing activities and contribute to the continuous adoption of test automation capabilities.
- Investigate, document,
and track defects using quality management and issue-tracking tools.
- Validate geospatial data pipelines and datasets, including data ingestion, transformation, and output verification activities.
- Analyze test results, identify inconsistencies, recommend improvements, and help strengthen testing processes and quality practices.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Approximately 3 to 6 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting,
