Introduction:

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Supply Chain Strategist to strengthen parts planning across our global manufacturing network. This role will develop and govern data-driven planning strategies for spare and repair parts, balancing availability and service levels with inventory investment and working-capital objectives. The candidate will partner with procurement, engineering, logistics, finance, and suppliers to improve demand and lead-time inputs, optimize repair loops and stocking policies, manage supply risks, and deliver measurable improvements through analytics,



standardized processes, and cross-functional execution. The position is based in Bangalore – Manyata Embassy Business Park.

Your Job:
- Own and continuously improve end-to-end planning strategies, policies, parameters, and governance for spare and repair parts across fabs and equipment groups.
- Develop inventory and repair-loop recommendations using demand history, variability, criticality, service-level targets, lead times, yield, tool-down risks, obsolescence risk, and total cost considerations.
- Balance equipment availability and operational resilience with inventory investment and working-capital objectives; quantify trade-offs and present transparent recommendations to decision-makers.
- Lead periodic reviews of supplier lead times, transit times, minimum order quantities, repair capacity, and other planning master data parameters; establish controls to maintain data accuracy.
