Job Description: Quality Audit Officer

Project: 1962 Veterinary Mobile Unit (MVU) & 1962 Veterinary Call Centre Services
Location: Patna, Bihar (Extensive travel across 38 districts)
Reports To: Head – Quality & Monitoring / Project Director
1. Position Overview
The Quality Audit Officer will serve as the central quality assurance authority for the 1962 Veterinary Service, which operates through 534 Mobile Veterinary Units (MVUs) deployed across all blocks of Bihar and a centralized 1962 Call Centre in Patna. The officer will ensure that service delivery, emergency response, medicine management, fleet readiness, and documentation systems function efficiently and transparently in compliance with departmental SOPs.
2. Core Responsibilities
A. Audit of 1962 Call Centre Operations (To ensure timely, skilled, and accurate tele-veterinary services with proper emergency coordination.)
- Develop and implement structured call audit frameworks.
- Review call recordings for communication standards and case categorization.
- Monitor emergency response time and routing efficiency.




- Evaluate performance of Call Centre Executives and Telemedicine Doctors.
- Verify CRM documentation accuracy and reporting integrity.
- Identify gaps and recommend training or corrective measures.

B. Field Audit of Mobile Veterinary Units (534 MVUs)- To ensure uniform service standards and accountability across all blocks.
- Conduct scheduled and surprise audits across districts.
- Verify daily camp implementation and emergency prioritization.
- Ensure presence and professionalism of Doctor, Para Vet, and Driver.
- Assess IEC activities and community engagement.
- Evaluate discipline, behavior, and compliance standards.

C. Medicine, Equipment & Inventory Audit-To ensure zero stock mismatch, proper medicine utilization
- Physically verify availability of medicines and consumables.
- Review stock register (opening/closing balance).
- Cross-check indent vs. consumption and expiry monitoring.
