Position: RPGLE Production Support Engineer
Experience: 4+ Years
Location: Pune / Bangalore / Noida

Work Mode: 5 Days Work from Office (Mandatory from Client Location)

Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced RPGLE Production Support Engineer to support and maintain critical IBM i (AS/400) applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in RPGLE application support, incident management, troubleshooting, and production monitoring in a 24x7 support setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide production support for RPGLE-based applications running on IBM i (AS/400) systems.
- Monitor application performance and proactively address production issues.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents, defects, and performance bottlenecks.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
- Work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve production issues.
- Support batch job monitoring, job scheduling, and production deployments.
- Handle service requests, incidents,



and change management activities as per SLAs.
- Maintain support documentation, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.
- Participate in on-call and shift support activities.

Required Skills
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in RPGLE Production Support.
- Strong knowledge of IBM i (AS/400) platform.
- Experience with RPGLE, CLLE, DB2/400, SQL, Query/400.
- Good understanding of batch processing, job scheduling, and production monitoring.
- Experience in incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
- Ability to perform log analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Exposure to banking, financial services, insurance, or retail applications.
- Experience working in a 24x7 production support environ
