Responsibilities
- Implement unit-level EHS policies, procedures, standards, and compliance programs.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and environmental risks.
- Perform risk assessments and support development of protected operating procedures, JSAs, and control measures.
- Monitor compliance with PPE, work permits, lockout/tagout, confined-space, work-at-height, and other critical safety requirements.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental events; prepare reports and track corrective and preventive actions.
- Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, refresher sessions, and EHS awareness campaigns for employees and contractors.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including drills, fire safety checks, evacuation readiness, and first-aid arrangements.
