Job Responsibilities
To provide strategic and operational leadership to the Finance function, ensuring effective financial planning, compliance, risk mitigation, and team performance. The role involves managing cash flow, statutory obligations, financial reporting, and ensuring robust internal controls while supporting overall business growth.
Financial Analysis, Reporting & Fund Management
- Understand and interpret business plans (e.g., Tata TISCON/others) to determine fund management needs.
- Prepare and present timely financial statements and budgets in line with the organization’s
- schedule.
- Present financial data and insights to stakeholders, including the Board of Directors.
Financial Records, Bookkeeping & Bank Reconciliation
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations including payroll, invoicing, and vendor payments.
- Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping and monthly/quarterly bank reconciliations.
Statutory Compliances
- Ensure timely filing and payment of Direct and Indirect Taxes (GST, TDS, Advance Tax, etc.).
- Liaise with consultants for regulatory and financial compliance including banking and investment documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act and other relevant financial statutes.
Internal Audit & Standard Audit Policy
- Oversee internal audits to evaluate the adequacy of internal controls.
- Prepare and submit internal audit reports to the management.
- Identify open audit points and ensure closure through corrective measures.
