Position Summary:

ASSA ABLOY is seeking an experienced Manager Procurement and Inventory Control - Retail & Residential Business based in Mumbai to lead procurement operations across ASSA ABLOY businesses. The role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, purchase order governance, inventory optimization, cost management, and ensuring uninterrupted supply to support business growth.

The position requires close collaboration with global and regional procurement teams, suppliers, supply chain, planning, finance, logistics, and business stakeholders to drive operational excellence, cost competitiveness, and supply continuity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement and inventory control strategies aligned with business objectives.




- Lead procurement function, contract management, and category management activities and align with business objectives.
- Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and supplier consolidation initiatives along with sourcing.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, global standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage end-to-end PR-to-PO processes, including order tracking and supplier coordination.
- Review and manage open purchase orders, demand alignment, and supply continuity.
- Collaborate with planning and operations teams to optimize inventory levels and supply availability.
- Monitor inventory health, supplier production schedules, and on-time delivery performance.
- Lead supply risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
- Manage import procurement activities and coordinate logistics with suppliers and freight partners.
