We are seeking a Software Engineer II to join our Audit Logging & Security Visibility team. This team builds the systems that record and surface security-relevant activity across DigitalOcean's cloud platform, so customers and internal teams can detect threats, investigate incidents, and prove compliance.

In this role, you will contribute meaningfully to building and maintaining our audit logging pipelines. You will work within established technical patterns, implement features against well-scoped designs, and grow your expertise in distributed systems and security engineering.

What You'll Do
- Build & Extend: Implement features and bug fixes across our audit and telemetry pipelines in Go, working within established architectural patterns.
- Contribute to SIEM Integrations: Help build and maintain integrations with Splunk, Datadog, Chronicle, and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Support the Audit Log Platform: Work on features that keep audit records accurate, retained correctly, and accessible in real time.
- Learn & Grow: Partner with senior engineers to build your understanding of streaming systems, security telemetry, and audit compliance — taking on more ownership over time.
