Department Profile
The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate, Currency Products, Commodities, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manages risk, trade securities, derivatives, lending and repo products,



and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets.

Background on the Team
As part of the Fixed Income Division, the Sales Assistant is responsible for working with and supporting the NY Rates Sales desk from Mumbai. Sales Assistant provides high-quality front-office support to Rates Sales desks across OTC interest-rate derivatives, Bonds and hybrid products.

Primary Responsibilities
- This role directly supports the NY Interest Rate Sales desk.
- The role includes trade booking & processing for interest rate swaps, swaptions and cash trades as well as identifying amendments with the trading desk, resolving disputes with downstream operational teams and systems, and liaising with trade settlement and confirmation teams when needed.
- Candidate will work very closely with the team in NY and must be able to work in NY market hours.
