Role: Manager Business Finance - Gov contracts

Educational Qualification: CA (Chartered Accountant)/ CMA (Cost Management Accountant) or Master's degree in Finance/Commerce/Business Administration (MBA – Finance preferred)

Work Experience: 3–6 years of relevant experience, with significant, hands-on exposure to Indian
government contracts-experience with iDEX, ISRO, MoD, IDDM, Make Indian, Make and
Buy Indian or other PSU/government engagements is necessary.

Role Description:
We are looking for a hands-on Business Finance Partner to serve as the primary POC for all our
government contacts. This role sits at the intersection of finance and business, dedicated to
Pixxel's Indian government and defence contracts (including iDEX, DRDO, ISRO, and other
PSU/ministry engagements). The person will own the P&L; for this business line, drive budgeting
and profitability, and be the primary finance partner to the business development and program
teams working on government bids, grants, and contracts. Robust command over government
procurement processes,

Responsibilities & Duties:
P&L; and Financial Ownership
- Own the P&L; for the government contracts business — track revenue, costs, and margins by project/contract.
- Build and manage budgets for government programs; monitor spend against sanctioned budgets and milestones.
- Drive profitability analysis and cost optimization across active and upcoming government projects.
- Prepare periodic MIS, forecasts, and variance reports for leadership.

Bids, Proposals and Contract Documentation
- Lead financial structuring and costing for project bids, proposals, RFPs/RFIs/RFQs, and grant applications (e.g., iDEX, ISRO).
- Prepare financial sections of tender responses, ensuring compliance with government financial norms (GFR, DAP, GeM, etc.).
