Description

The Medical Records Summarization Specialist is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing medical records into clear, accurate, and chronologically organized reports. The role requires extracting key medical information from a variety of healthcare documents while maintaining quality and turnaround time. The specialist will work closely with quality reviewers and team leads to ensure summaries meet client specifications and medico-legal requirements.

Responsibility

Review and analyze medical records, including physician notes, hospital records, diagnostic reports, laboratory results, operative reports, and therapy records.
- Prepare concise, accurate, and chronological medical summaries.
- Identify significant medical events, diagnoses, treatments, medications, surgeries,



and follow-up care.
- Ensure summaries comply with client-specific guidelines and quality standards.
- Meet daily productivity and turnaround time targets.
- Collaborate with QA reviewers and Team Leads to address feedback and continuously improve quality.
- Report discrepancies, missing information, or illegible records when identified.
