Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead strategic initiatives in data preservation and information governance within the IT Services sector. This pivotal role focuses on optimizing the storage and retrieval of critical enterprise data while ensuring strict adherence to global privacy regulations. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex technical configurations and business needs, managing the full lifecycle of document management systems. This position is essential for maintaining data integrity, enhancing system performance, and safeguarding organizational compliance in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust configurations for archive objects to ensure effective data storage and retrieval.
- Execute and validate scheduled archiving jobs across SAP environments, including S/4HANA systems, to manage data volume effectively.
- Oversee the creation and security protocols of repositories, ensuring data is accessible only to authorized personnel.




- Manage the metadata associated with documents to facilitate accurate classification and searchability.
- Develop and enforce retention policies that align with data lifecycle management strategies and legal requirements.
- Coordinate closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders to align archiving solutions with organizational goals.
- Configure and maintain SAP Data Management Systems (DMS) and related solutions on the Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Ensure all data handling practices comply with GDPR and other relevant data privacy standards.
- Utilize SAP IQ and OpenText technologies to enhance data archiving capabilities and reporting.
