About the Team

GSMA Mobile for Development (M4D) is a dedicated global team within the GSMA, which brings together our mobile operator members, tech innovators, the development community and governments, to realise the impact of mobile in low- and middle-income countries:

This role is part of he SheConnects Digital Accelerator which was founded by the Reliance Foundation and Gates Foundation to advance women’s digital inclusion.



The Accelerator aims to scale proven, high-impact solutions that enable women and girls to participate fully in the digital world, improving their lives and livelihoods. The Accelerator grants are supported by Reliance Foundation in India and by Gates Foundation in Sub Saharan Africa. By catalysing innovative partnerships and use cases, the Accelerator will strengthen evidence on what works, foster south-to-south learning, and help shape a more inclusive global digital ecosystem.

About the Role

You will work as part of the team to support the scale up of approaches to increase women’s adoption and use of the internet, reducing the gender gap.
Key responsibilities include working as part of a team to:
- Support a portfolio of partners across Africa and India interested in accelerating women’s adoption and use of the internet, with a particular focus on increasing smartphone ownership and use. This will
