Job Description- Sr. Design Engineer

Job Summary:
As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of complex engineering projects. While working hands on, will use your experience and knowledge to guide a team of engineers and technicians to complete projects on time and within budget. You will work closely with product and project managers, clients, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure that design solutions meet or exceed expectations. Interactions with vendors and finalizing technology and components is one of the key activities. The Senior Design Engineer will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within the design process.

Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the design and development of complex engineering projects, from conception to completion.
· Work closely with product and project managers, application engineers, clients, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure that design solutions meet or exceed expectations.




· Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers and technicians throughout the design process.
· Develop and implement design standards, procedures, and best practices to ensure quality and consistency across all projects.
· Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within the design process.
· Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
· Coordinate with other teams and departments to ensure successful project delivery while working in a matrix organization structure.
· Participate in design reviews and ensure that designs and drawings are thoroughly tested and validated and ensure product performance and reliability.
· Recommending design modifications to improve product functionality, reduce costs, improve manufacturability and aesthetics.
· Review with Dematic engineering team for upgrading the design to global standards.
