Description
We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead with a strong backend engineering focus to design, build, and operate large-scale distributed systems.
The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js, Microservices, Kafka, MongoDB, Redis, Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes, with robust experience building and operating high-scale backend platforms in production environments.
The role also requires hands-on frontend development experience, particularly with ReactJS, with Angular experience being relevant for full-stack delivery. As a Technical Lead, you will provide technical direction to a cross-functional engineering team while remaining hands-on with architecture, development, code quality, performance, and delivery.
You will work closely with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps teams, and other engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, reliable, and maintainable platforms supporting digital products and everyday banking capabilities.

cloud-native backend platforms.
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js.
- Architect and implement microservices-based distributed systems.
- Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka for asynchronous processing and service-to-service integration.
- Design scalable data models and optimize MongoDB databases, including indexing, aggregation pipelines, and performance tuning.
- Implement Redis for caching, distributed locking, session management, and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain frontend applications using ReactJS while maintaining a strong backend engineering focus.
- Work with Angular where required as part of full-stack application development.
