POSITION PURPOSE:

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to building complex medical device products. This role involves building technical strategies, collaborating with technical architects, developers, and product leaders to set long-term strategic goals and drive innovation to maintain Bayer Radiology’s market advantage. This role works closely with global, cross functional teams to support compliant implementations, documentation, effective lifecycle management,



and audit readiness.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who can drive outcomes and align with Bayer's mission and values.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead technical design and development across multiple medical device products, including device adapters, DICOM/PACS interfaces, integration engines, and desktop or web applications using .NET technologies.
- Design, maintain, and modernize software architectures built using C#, .NET Framework, WPF, WinForms, WCF/SOAP services, Windows services, XML/XSD/WSDL-based integrations, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Work on communication and integration layers involving WCF, TCP/IP, web sockets, web services, PACS/DICOM-related workflows where applicable, device communication, configuration management, and service-to-service interactions.
