Orbit Global HR Consultants LLP, a leading Jewellery Recruitment Agency and Executive Search firm in India, is hiring an experienced DGM – Purchase for a reputed jewellery organization in Calicut, Kerala.
The role is responsible for managing gold and diamond jewellery procurement, vendor development, central purchase operations, CTP coordination, barcode operations, production, melting, vendor payments and jewellery inventory-related activities.
This is a senior procurement position requiring strong knowledge of the gold jewellery industry, jewellery sourcing, vendor management, making charges, product quality,
gold procurement and multi-location retail jewellery operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Gold & Diamond Jewellery Purchase
- Manage procurement of gold and diamond ornaments according to business requirements.
- Ensure timely purchase and delivery of jewellery to respective retail stores.
- Plan purchases based on sales requirements, product trends and fund availability.
- Coordinate with internal teams to prioritize urgent jewellery requirements.
- Monitor purchase flow from vendor selection through delivery and payment.
- Ensure purchased jewellery meets required quality and commercial standards.
2. CTP / Central Purchase Operations
- Manage CTP-related purchase activities according to company policies and procedures.
- Release priority work instructions to concerned CTP teams.
- Coordinate with the CTP Committee for purchase and process approvals.
