POSITION SUMMARY

The Laundry Executive is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's laundry department, ensuring effective processing of guest laundry, staff uniforms, linen, and other hotel fabrics while maintaining quality standards, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards. Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms. Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities. Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk. Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments. Communicate issues to next shift. Complete required paperwork.
- Supervise and coordinate all laundry operations, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and linen distribution.




- Ensure timely processing and delivery of guest laundry and dry-cleaning requests.
- Maintain quality standards for all linens, uniforms, and guest garments.
- Monitor laundry equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Manage inventory of linens, uniforms, laundry chemicals, and supplies.
- Conduct regular linen and uniform stock counts and maintain records.
- Train, motivate, and supervise laundry associates to ensure productivity and adherence to standards.
- Ensure compliance with hotel brand standards, safety regulations, and hygiene procedures.
- Handle guest concerns related to laundry services promptly and professionally.
- Control laundry costs by minimizing wastage, shrinkage, and damage to linens and uniforms.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
