Role Summary
The Director of Product Management, athenaOne Foundations, is responsible for defining product strategy, roadmap, and measurable business outcomes for the core services, platforms, and engineering environments that power athenaOne.This leader translates athenaOne Foundations strategy into clear product direction, aligning investment to the needs of internal users, dependent product teams, and the long-term modernization goals of athenahealth.
athenaOne Foundations is focused on modernizing, stabilizing, and scaling the core services and environments that enable innovation across athenaOne. This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering, product engineering, R&D;, Security, Finance, and Infrastructure, and is accountable for shaping a coherent portfolio of capabilities that improve resiliency, scalability, developer experience, and productivity in an AI-first world.
This Hybrid role is based in Chennai, India,
requires 10+ years of experience, and reports to the Executive Director, Product.
Team Summary

The team works across platform engineering, product engineering, R&D;, Security, Finance, and Infrastructure to improve resiliency, scalability, developer experience, and productivity. The team places emphasis on leveraging AI and automation to simplify internal workflows, improve R&D; productivity, and support an AI-first operating model.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Define and manage the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for athenaOne Foundations.
Translate modernization, resiliency, scalability, security, and platform investment needs into transparent priorities, sequencing, and measurable outcomes.
