The role requires strong engineering fundamentals, ownership, and the ability to translate product requirements into robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
- Build reliable, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs and backend components.




- Develop backend capabilities supporting AI-powered search, discovery, and personalised user experiences.
- Translate product and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Design efficient service architectures, data models, and backend workflows.
- Integrate backend services with databases, internal systems, external APIs, and third-party platforms.
- Optimise backend systems for performance, scalability, reliability, and availability.
- Implement effective logging, monitoring, error handling, and operational practices.
- Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code following modern engineering standards.
- Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and peer code reviews.
- Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fix
