Role Overview

The Underwriter will review, condition, and underwrite mortgage loan files in accordance with established company policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements. The role requires robust analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound decision-making ability to assess risk and approve eligible loans.

Key Responsibilities

Loan Underwriting & Risk Assessment
- Review and analyze mortgage loan applications for eligibility, accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Evaluate all loan data, appraisal reports, credit reports, inspections, and supporting documents.
- Assess borrower qualifications based on the 4Cs of Underwriting: Credit, Capacity, Collateral, and Capital.
