Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java, Microservices Architecture, API Design & Development, AWS Cloud Services, and Kafka-based event-driven solutions.
This role requires a hands-on engineer who can drive technical design decisions, contribute to architecture discussions, mentor junior developers, and collaborate closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver robust enterprise-grade applications.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
API Design & Development
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable RESTful APIs.
- Define API standards, governance, versioning, and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical API solutions.
- Develop API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
- Optimize API performance, reliability, and security.

Backend Development
- Design and implement backend services using Java and Spring Boot.




- Build and maintain microservices-based architectures.
- Develop reusable, testable, and effective code following industry best practices.
- Perform code reviews and ensure high coding standards.

Cloud & Distributed Systems
- Design and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Work with AWS services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Implement scalable and resilient distributed systems.

Event-Driven Architecture
- Design and develop Kafka-based integration solutions.
- Build event-driven microservices for asynchronous processing.
- Monitor and optimize Kafka producers, consumers, and topics.

Collaboration & Leadership
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical decision-making.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
