Job Description:
Position Summary
Fluence is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Electrical Engineer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD, or similar electrical CAD tools to support electrical design, manufacturing documentation, and engineering change management activities. The role involves developing and maintaining detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, cable drawings, and related engineering documentation. The engineer will work closely with Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, Manufacturing, and Sustaining Engineering teams to deliver accurate,



high-quality electrical designs and support product improvements and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable drawings, and panel layouts.
- Develop 2D electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar CAD tools.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs, cable schedules, terminal plans, and connection diagrams.
- Support electrical engineers with design changes, CRs, NCRs, and manufacturing issues.
- Review drawings for manufacturability, electrical clearances, routing, and standards compliance.
- Incorporate engineering changes into existing product drawings and documentation.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Manufacturing, and suppliers.
- Support drawing release through PLM/document-control systems such as Windchill.
