This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Authorization based in India.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll design and deliver secure, scalable services that underpin modern identity and authorization capabilities.
You’ll work primarily with Go, Node.js, and/or Python to build production-grade systems with a solid focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement of development practices.
You’ll contribute to core authorization and IAM capabilities using technologies such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and infrastructure-as-code.
Working across multiple time zones, you’ll help drive clear technical decisions through strong documentation and asynchronous collaboration.
You’ll also champion automated testing, CI/CD quality gates, observability, and reliable deployment practices.

Accountabilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and secure backend services using Go, Node.js, and/or Python.

Produce well-documented, maintainable, and high-performance code, with particular attention to minimizing latency for users across global environments.

Develop automated unit, integration, and regression tests for both new functionality and existing services.

Strengthen engineering quality through automated CI/CD gates that detect issues early and reduce regression risk.

Partner with Product Management and UX teams across time zones to refine requirements, assess technical feasibility, and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.

Contribute to engineering roadmap discussions and help ensure technical priorities remain aligned with customer and business val
