The PHY System team is part of Ceragon’s Radio R&D; group. Ceragon delivers RF communication systems in both Point-to-Point, Point-to-Multipoint and Mesh configurations which are deployed as smart cities and internet access solutions, as well as backhaul solutions, for delivering high-speed Gigabit connectivity.
The PHY Radio System Expert, Serve as the technical focal point for advanced RF and physical layer (PHY) modem systems, driving the definition, analysis, and hands-on performance verification of next-generation wireless architectures. In this role, you bridge baseband signal processing and analog RF hardware, taking architectural and technical ownership of link performance, system behavior, and end-to-end functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a knowledge expert for modem/system integration with RF and antenna components.
- Oversee the development of PHY Hardware System using WIFI 7
- Oversee the development of Control and Calibration Algorithms for RFIC and Modem components.
- Suggest improvements in PHY Algorithms in the PHY Firmware code.

- Drive performance optimization of the PHY layer and ensure overall system performance meets or exceeds targets.
- Manage the full development lifecycle, from early design to production transfer and maintenance.
- Conduct and guide research on optimization techniques and algorithms for seamless integration of Analog, DSP, and MAC portions with RF, modem, and antenna components.

Qualification and Experience
- B.E. or B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from a major university. M.E. or M.Tech. is an advantage.
- Minimum 12 + years of hands-on experience in designing RF and Modem-based systems.
- Past exposure in development of high speed RF hardware system including board design
- Previous experience in C/C++, Matlab and Python programming.
- Previous experience in as many of the following areas:
- Robust background in DSP & Communications.
- Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (e.g., WIFI, WIMAX, WIG
