Job Purpose:
The Production Process Safety Executive is responsible for ensuring operational safety, compliance, and efficiency. This role involves overseeing the safety aspects of production processes, implementing improvements, managing safety data, and driving technological advancements in safety measures.
The executive will work closely with both production and safety departments to ensure all activities align with regulatory standards and company safety policies.
Responsibilities
Production Process Safety – Copper
Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute safety plans specific to production processes in the copper mining workplace.
- Coordinate with production teams to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
- Oversee the implementation of safety protocols during all phases of production.
- Monitor execution against safety plans to identify deviations and take corrective actions.
Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
- Continually assess safety processes for efficiency and effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance safety in production processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and refine safety features in equipment and processes.
- Analyze accident and incident reports to develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
