Job Overview:
The AVP, Infrastructure Engineer – AWS Cloud is a senior individual contributor responsible for designing and building AWS infrastructure to support large-scale application and data platform migrations from on-premises to cloud. This role translates enterprise architecture and migration design documents into secure, resilient, and cost-optimized AWS environments. The position is hands-on with no direct people management responsibilities and partners closely with Architecture, Security, Networking, and Application teams.





Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Build AWS services including VPC, EC2, EKS/ECS, RDS/Aurora, S3, IAM, Route 53, ALB/NLB, and CloudWatch
- Execute infrastructure builds supporting data center exit and cloud migration initiatives
- Implement AWS security best practices including least-privilege IAM, encryption, logging, and monitoring
- Support hybrid connectivity patterns including VPN and Direct Connect
- Apply FinOps principles to optimize AWS cost and resource utilization
- Collaborate with Architecture and Security teams to ensure compliance and standards alignment
