Job Purpose :

To support the Finance Manager/Finance Controller in managing General Ledger activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording, reconciliation and reporting of financial transactions.



The role is responsible for cash and bank reconciliations, foreign currency accounting and revaluation, intercompany accounting and reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, audit support and process improvements, automations & UAT, while providing day-to-day guidance & supervision to the GL team.

Key responsibilities :
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting and financial accounting principles.
- Good understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
- Working knowledge of foreign currency accounting, exchange rates and foreign currency revaluation.
- Good understanding of intercompany accounting and reconciliation processes.
- Knowledge of financial controls, accounting policies and audit requirements.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to identify discrepancies, investigate root causes and drive timely resolution.
