SUMMARY
The Manager, Engineering reports to the Director, Engineering and leads a team of software engineers who build and sustain the products Armor’s customers depend on. This is a hands-on leadership position: the manager writes production code, opens and reviews pull requests, and ships alongside the engineers they lead.



The role exercises independent judgment and discretion in setting technical direction, making architecture decisions, prioritizing defects and feature work, directing incident response, and developing engineering talent. Armor is looking for a technical leader with a track record of building and shipping high-quality software with AI-assisted development tools, and with the engineering judgment to raise the bar on architecture, delivery speed, and engineering ownership. This is a full time in-office role based in Pune, India; on-site presence five days a week is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Additional duties may be assigned as required)
• Lead and manage a high-performing AI-native software engineering team, providing technical direction, mentorship, and hands-on guidance while building a culture of engineering ownership.
