- Managing products, systems and/or projects/processes, and working independently with limited supervision.

- Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.
- Specializes in planning, designing, and developing software systems (e.g., middleware, legacy, mainframe) and applications from concept phase to series production used in local, networked, cloudbased or internet related computer programs.
- Developers design, code, test, debug, and document program requirements, working with architects, product managers, and endusers in the development and enhancement of applications.
- Plans, designs, and develops software systems from concept phase to production in local networks or cloud based related computer programs
- Codes in relevant languages.
- Applies advanced knowledge of sub-function typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

Job Description:

Role Summary

The Application Developer Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integrations between Salesforce and enterprise finance systems. This role collaborates with Sales, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions that enable seamless data exchange, business process automation, and operational efficiency. The position focuses on hands-on application development, API integration, database optimization, and support of enterprise integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and support integrations between Salesforce and finance applications.




- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain APIs, services, and data synchronization processes.
- Support testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support activities.

Application Development

- Create and consume web services using C# .NET throughout the application ecosystem.
- Develop applications using ADO.NET for database connectivity and transaction management.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.

Database Development & Optimization

- Develop reusable generic stored procedures and views that can be reused across multiple business functions.
- Perform performance tuning of stored procedures, functions, queries, and other database objects.
- Design and implement Common Table Expressions (CTEs), indexes, temporary tables, and temporal tables to maximize storage efficiency and performance.
- Monitor and optimize database scalability, reliability, and performance.

Integration & Data Management

- Design and implement bidirectional integrations between Salesforce and finance systems.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and consistency across integrated platforms.
- Support data mapping, transformation, and synchronization processes.
- Identify and resolve integration issues and performance bottlenecks.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of application development experience using Microsoft technologies.
- Robust proficiency in C# and .NET development.
- Advanced SQL Server development and database optimization experience.
- Experience developing and consuming APIs and web services.
- Experience implementing object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.




- Experience developing data access layers using ADO.NET.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Salesforce platform integrations and data models.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP or finance systems.
- Experience developing front-end applications using Angular and AngularJS.
- Knowledge of SQL and .NET services, including REST and WCF/SOAP.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and middleware platforms.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Backend Development Experience

Candidates should possess 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience.

Strong problem-solving and application development capabilities are required.

Frontend Exposure

Angular/AngularJS exposure is preferred and will be considered an added advantage.

Integration Experience

Experience working on system integrations, APIs, and enterprise application integrations is desirable.

Exposure to Salesforce, finance systems, or Vertex integration environments would be beneficial.
