Description
The position is for a Senior Technical Specialist in the CNS Charging Application Business, NCC R&D; Team (Online Charging), Gurgaon. The selected candidate will be part of the R&D; Scrum/R&D; Support team responsible for developing features on the Nokia Converged Charging (NCC) product. The role involves support, designing, and developing solutions to address customer-reported product issues, while also contributing to feature development. The candidate must have extensive working knowledge of Java and be able to participate in design discussions and address performance issues.

Responsibilities
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Understand and refine customer/internal product requirements and develop design alternatives ensuring complete coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Work within the Agile development sprint team to plan, design, code, unit-test, automate JUnits, and ensure appropriate code coverage.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve defects identified during functional, non-functional, integration, customer lab,



and production phases, including RCA and corrective actions.
- Support deployment, testing, and customer queries, while collaborating closely with other development and services teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Identify and implement new tools, techniques, and process improvements to enhance development and testing efficiency.
- Support team capability development through interviews, on-the-job training, and mentoring of junior team members.
- Work independently when required, provide accurate and timely status updates, and demonstrate a flexible, proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to multitask under pressure.

Qualifications
You have:
- Strong Java skills, preferably in a J2EE application server setting, with knowledge of Java design patterns and Java frameworks.
