About ZentrumHub
ZentrumHub is a B2B white-label hotel technology platform. OTAs, travel management companies, and wholesalers build their booking experience on our APIs. We aggregate content, rates, and availability across 100+ supplier integrations and serve high-volume search and booking traffic where both p99 latency and correctness are non-negotiable.
We run a .NET microservices estate on AWS EKS. The engineering team is small enough that you'll own real surface area and see the consequences of your design decisions in production.
The role
You'll own a service domain in the critical path — search, availability, booking, or supplier content — end to end. That means API contracts, data model, caching strategy, rollout, and on-call for what you ship.
What you'll do
- Design and build .NET 8 / C# microservices deployed on AWS EKS
- Optimize latency-sensitive read paths — profiling, allocation reduction, serialization cost, connection pooling
- Design storage and caching layers appropriately: in-memory and distributed caches for hot data, search engines for text and geo queries, PostgreSQL/Aurora for relational workloads
- Build supplier integrations resilient to partner-side latency, throttling, and schema drift
- Instrument what you ship — metrics, structured logs, meaningful SLOs. If it isn't measurable, it isn't done
- Participate in on-call for your services and drive the fixes that come out of incidents
- Review code and raise the engineering bar around you
Must have
- Strong C# / .NET — you understand async/await properly, ThreadPool behaviour, GC pressure, and how to read a profiler trace
- Production experience with distributed systems and microservices at meaningful scale
- Hands-on AWS — you've built and operated services there, not just called the SDK. Working knowledge of the managed pieces your service leans on: EKS/ECS, RDS/Aurora, S3, SQS/SNS, IAM and networking basics
- Practical Kubernetes literacy — you can debug your own pod, read resource limits, and understand how HPA affects your service
- SQL fluency and real relational modelling ability (indexes, query plans, not just ORMs)
- Comfort with high-cardinality, high-throughput data and the tradeoffs of caching vs. recomputation
- Ability to reason about failure modes: retries, idempotency, partial writes, reconciliation
Nice to have
- Travel/hospitality domain exposure (hotel content, mapping, rate distribution, GDS/supplier APIs)
- Distributed caching or key-value stores in production
- Search engine experience (Elasticsearch or similar) including relevance tuning
- Service mesh, Prometheus/PromQL
- Cost-aware infrastructure thinking — you notice when a design choice shows up on the bill
- Payment integrations and the discipline that comes with money-path code
Interview process
- Screening call (30 min)
- Technical discussion — a design problem drawn from our actual platform (60–75 min)
- Code exercise focused on correctness and performance reasoning
- Deep dive on a system you've owned in production, including what broke and what you changed
- Leadership conversation
What we offer
- Ownership of production systems from day one, not ticket queues
- Small team, short decision paths, direct access to engineering leadership
- Competitive compensation, health insurance, flexible schedule
- Real technical depth — performance work, distributed systems, and scale problems that don't have textbook answers
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹3,500,000.00 per year
