Roles and Responsibilities:

Automation Tester (Playwright and AI-Assisted Migration)

Role summary:

* You will migrate Testim test cases to Playwright using our AI-assisted
process, while applying a quality-first mindset. You will not just convert
tests; you will confirm they are secure, readable, and truly validate the
intended behavior.

Key responsibilities:

* Migrate assigned Testim test cases to Playwright using the approved
AI-assisted workflow.
* Review and correct AI-generated code: verify assertions, selectors, waits,
and test data, and reject or rework anything that does not meet standards.
* Validate that each migrated test preserves the coverage and intent of the
original.
* Run, debug, and stabilize tests locally and in CI; investigate and fix
flaky tests.
* Follow framework conventions (page objects, fixtures, naming, tagging) and
contribute reusable components.
* Flag redundant, outdated, or low-value legacy tests for review.
* Log defects clearly and collaborate with developers on root cause.




* Update migration tracking and documentation daily.
* Share effective prompts and learnings with the team.

Required qualifications:

* 4+ years in QA and test automation.
* Hands-on Playwright experience (TypeScript or JavaScript preferred).
* Working knowledge of web technologies: DOM, CSS/XPath/role-based locators,
HTTP, and REST APIs.
* Regular, practical use of AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) for
coding and testing, with a habit of verifying output rather than trusting it
blindly.
* Familiarity with Git workflows, pull requests, and CI pipelines.
* Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.

Preferred qualifications

* Experience with Testim or another low-code/record-and-playback tool.
* Experience migrating tests between frameworks.
* API testing experience (Playwright API testing, Postman, or similar).
* Understanding of test design techniques and exploratory testing.
