Job Description
Experience: 6-10 Years (Senior/Lead HW Design Engineer)Act as the primary technical interface for external stakeholders, ECU customer teams, and functional teams to manage motor control, thermal, reliability, and software interfacesDeep knowledge in Motor control/inverter circuits, gate drivers, DC-link capacitor sizing, power supply modules, and sensor interfaces.Extensive experience in Power Electronics design, including buck/boost converters, LDOs, power budgeting, thermal calculations, and thermal simulations.Advanced expertise in Low-voltage (<100V) and High-voltage (upto 800V) power supply modules, including PFC, Flyback converters, complex isolation concepts, and grounding topologies.Robust knowledge of analog & digital circuit design, Worst-Case Analysis (WCA), DFMEA/FMEA, EMC design principles, and Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
in compliance with automotive standards.Hands-on experience in schematic design & review, BOM/EBOM management, and multi-layer PCB layout reviews.Lead requirement study, define HW architecture, and design/modify robust circuits for automotive power electronics products.Perform complex circuit calculations (e.g., Mathcad) and advanced circuit simulations (e.g., MATLAB, PSpice, LTspice).Lead laboratory testing, measurements, debugging, and validation of prototype ECUs.Partner closely with internal customers, system engineering, and software teams to address and resolve complex ECU design and integration issues.
