Job Purpose

To learn and perform garment ironing and finishing operations under the guidance of an experienced Ironing Master, ensuring garments are properly pressed, finished, and prepared for the next stage of production.

Key Responsibilities

- Learn and perform garment ironing using steam iron, vacuum table, and other ironing equipment.
- Follow proper ironing methods according to garment type and fabric.
- Maintain required temperature, pressure, and steam settings.
- Check garments for wrinkles, creases, stains, and finishing defects.
- Handle garments carefully to avoid burns, shine marks, or fabric damage.
- Follow production targets and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the ironing area.
- Follow safety procedures while handling hot irons and steam equipment.
- Assist the Ironing Master in daily production activities.
- Report equipment problems, fabric damage, or quality issues to the supervisor.




- Develop skills to independently perform ironing operations after training.

Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: No specific qualification required.
- Experience: Fresher / Previous garment industry experience preferred.
- Training: On-the-job training will be provided.
