Role & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software components using C/C++ and Modern C++ for Linux and Windows platforms.
Develop and optimize TCP/IP network communication and socket programming components.
Implement and maintain client-server architecture and communication protocols.
Work on system-level programming, including multithreading, synchronization, IPC, and system internals.
Contribute to BACnet stack development and protocol implementation.
Develop and maintain cross-platform build systems using CMake and Makefiles.
Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and crash/core-dump analysis using GDB, WinDbg, and similar tools.
Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Python and/or Perl.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile/Scrum development activities.
Ensure high-quality, reliable, and maintainable software through unit testing and troubleshooting.

Preferred Candidate Profile
5+ years of hands-on experience in C/C++ software development, including Modern C++.
Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns,



algorithms, and software architecture.
Robust hands-on experience in TCP/IP, socket programming, network programming, and client-server architecture.
Good experience with Linux and Windows system programming.
Solid understanding of multithreading, synchronization, IPC, and system internals.
Hands-on experience with CMake and Makefiles.
Experience using GDB, WinDbg, or similar debugging tools.
Experience in protocol/communication stack development is highly preferred.
Exposure to Python/Perl scripting and test automation.
Experience in cross-platform software development.
Knowledge of BACnet or other building/industrial automation protocols will be an added advantage.
Valuable communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.
