Key Responsibilities & Skill Areas
Mechanical Installation:
Machine leveling, geometric alignment, and complete mechanical assembly.
Mounting chucks, turrets, tool blocks, tailstocks, and related machine accessories.
Electrical Installation:
Panel wiring checks, cable routing, and control system interconnections.
Understanding and working with drives, servo motors, encoders, sensors, and electrical interlocks.
CNC Commissioning:
CNC parameter setup, axis referencing, and spindle/turret calibration.
Basic PLC and CNC diagnostics across major controllers like Fanuc, Siemens, or equivalent systems.
Workpiece Proving (Job Prove-Out):
Tool setup, offset setting, and G-code/M-code program loading.
Conducting trial cuts, verifying dimensional accuracy, and optimizing cycle times.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and CNC control system faults.
Customer Support & Documentation:
Training machine operators on daily operation and preventive maintenance.
Preparing field installation reports, service logs, and completion certificates.
Soft Skills:
Customer communication, structured problem-solving, safety compliance, and time management.
