Responsibilities
Administer and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
Plan and execute database migrations with minimal downtime.
Manage HA, replication, backups, and disaster recovery.
Monitor and optimize database performance.
Support Redis, ClickHouse, and other data stores.
Automate database tasks using Bash/Python.
Implement database security and access controls.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams.
Preferred candidate profile
Database administration experience.
Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, replication, and performance tuning.
Experience with MySQL/MariaDB to PostgreSQL migrations.
Solid knowledge of HA, PITR, backups, and disaster recovery.
Experience with cloud and on-premise database deployments.
Knowledge of Redis, ClickHouse, Ansible/Terraform is a plus.
Robust Bash/Python scripting skills.
